    A healthy vegan alternative to chocolate ice cream that feels just as indulgent!

    Prep time: 10 minutes

    Cook time: 5 minutes

    Serves: 6-8

    Ingredients:

    • 2 cups pure cocoa powder
    • 1 cup dark chocolate
    • 1/2 to 1 cup of brown sugar (depends on your sweetness preference)
    • 4 cups water
    • 1/2 cup cacao nibs
    • 1 pinch salt

    Directions:

    1. Make simple syrup by dissolving sugar and water in a pot on medium heat.
    2. Add the cocoa powder slowly into the pot and mix well until fully dissolved.
    3. Remove from heat and add the pinch of salt along with the chocolate. Mix well until chocolate is dissolved.
    4. Let cool completely and store in fridge for 2 hours.
    5. When chilled, add to an ice cream maker or a food processor and process until smooth. When done processing, add the cacao nibs.
    6. Store in freezer and enjoy!
